Job Summary

Lead credit management for Healthcare & Education within Wholesale Banking, owning the end-to-end process from underwriting to approvals. Provide expert input on deal structuring, guide risk assessment with Coverage & Product teams, ensure compliance with policy, coordinate due diligence, and oversee analytics and credit decisioning for a high-value portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

•Actively participate in client relationships through visits and calls as part of transaction origination/structuring.
•Provide ongoing feedback and expert inputs into deal structure based on Bank Risk Appetite for products/industry/geography.
•Advise Relationship Managers on risk factors and essential clauses to mitigate them.
•Participate in due diligence with Coverage/Product teams and ensure emerging risk factors are addressed with mitigants.
•Prepare comprehensive credit papers with key risks, mitigations, and recommendations for approving authorities.

Key Requirements

•Must have Bachelor’s degree. Desirable: Chartered Accountant/ MBA or other relevant finance degree, professional certification (CFA/FRM) or diploma.
•Minimum 10 years relevant experience in the banking sector with at least 4-5 years in Large Corporate / Wholesale Credit function.
•Proven experience in Corporate Credit underwriting, preferably across Healthcare and/or Education sectors regionally or globally.
•Expert knowledge of products and structures across trade & working capital, syndicated & bilateral loans, structured finance.
•Strong communication skills – written and spoken.
