Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide overall technical support for planning, coordinating, and monitoring CRESHCF interventions, including renovation, solar energy system installation, and rainwater harvesting retrofitting.
  • •Conduct needs assessments (site assessments, infrastructure condition surveys) and develop detailed work plans with timelines, resources, procurement requirements, and budget estimates.
  • •Prepare technical documentation for tenders, support procurement by reviewing bids, and provide technical evaluation of contractors and suppliers.
  • •Supervise and monitor construction/installation/retrofitting to ensure compliance with approved designs, quality standards, and timelines; integrate climate resilience, environmental sustainability, and WASH standards.
  • •Coordinate with MISE, conduct scoping and BOQ review, perform periodic QA inspections, and produce progress, risk, completion, and final certification reports.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: AUD 2,535.75 - 3,020.58 monthly

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, construction management, architecture, building services engineering, environmental health, public health, or related fields.
  • •At least 2 years of relevant experience working on government projects involving building and maintenance of government buildings or healthcare facilities, including outer island construction.
  • •Experience preparing project work plans and developing Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
  • •Proven experience managing construction or refurbishment projects, preferably in healthcare settings.
  • •Fluency in English; strong coordination, communication, reporting/documentation, and problem-solving in remote conditions.
