Job Summary

Lead technical due diligence for data centre and digital infrastructure investments, supporting investors, lenders, and developers across hyperscale, colocation, and edge facilities. Assess power, cooling, IT load, and resilience/performance, and contribute to investment cases through capex benchmarking, lifecycle costs, and expansion strategies. Shape bids and proposals with robust asset and demand insights, present findings to clients, and support site visits and international projects as required.

Key Responsibilities

•Support technical and commercial due diligence assignments for investors, lenders, and developers across the data centre sector (hyperscale, colocation, and edge facilities).
•Assess design basis and operational performance, including power infrastructure, cooling systems, IT load capacity, and uptime/resilience standards.
•Develop inputs for investment cases and business plans, including capex benchmarking, lifecycle costs, and expansion strategies.
•Advise on operational performance, asset management practices, and risk identification across portfolios.
•Provide technical/commercial input into bids and pursuits, present findings to clients, and participate in site visits and international projects as required.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Proven experience in data centres or digital infrastructure, ideally in engineering consultancy, advisory/due diligence, or owner/operator/developer environments.
•Strong understanding of data centre design and operations, including power, cooling, redundancy.
•Experience with capacity planning, utilisation, scalability, and asset lifecycle management/reliability.
•Experience in technical due diligence or investment advisory for infrastructure assets.
•Ability to work on complex assignments, manage workstreams under tight deadlines, and engage with senior stakeholders.
