Key Requirements

  • •Extensive back-end engineering experience.
  • •Experience building and running microservices and distributed systems in production, reasoning about durability, transactional correctness, and failure modes at scale.
  • •Extensive experience with relational databases (ideally PostgreSQL; open to MySQL or similar), with emphasis on data integrity.
  • •Experience in systems where correctness is hard (ledgers, accounting, billing, or payments), including invariants, immutable audit trails, and reconciliation controls, ideally in regulated settings.
  • •Experience leading a feature or project end to end (scoping, design, delivery, and running it in production), and using AI tools (like Cursor or Claude Code) in your daily flow.
