Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with Pricing Managers on ongoing management of Bulk Purchase Annuity transaction book.
  • •Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute data cleanses, including GMP equalisation implementation and transition to buyout.
  • •Lead the production of cash flow and pricing models for BPAs, ensuring robust controls and processes are followed.
  • •Navigate complexities and non-standard requests, driving solution thinking.
  • •Develop, coach, and train junior team members, and lead project management to meet contractual requirements and timescales.

Key Requirements

  • •Be a qualified Actuary.
  • •Practical experience of actuarial cash flow modelling, including bespoke projects and assumption setting.
  • •Strong technical knowledge of defined benefit pensions, including modelling of GMP benefits, franking, and deferred member benefit calculations.
  • •Experience with bulk annuity modelling and pricing, with an appreciation of Solvency II and Matching Adjustment regulatory context.
  • •Ability to work quickly and accurately with a high attention to detail.
