Job Summary

Lead and deliver landscape planning across UK-wide projects within a multidisciplinary team. As Head of Landscape Planning, mentor staff, drive client engagement and business development, and oversee technical excellence from reports to public inquiries. Key Responsibilities

•Lead and guide the delivery of Landscape Planning at AECOM and mentor staff to foster continuous growth.
•Develop and represent AECOM Landscape Planning in the industry, building strong client relationships and seeking new work through proactive engagement.
•Oversee the delivery of all stages of landscape planning projects to achieve high standards, producing reports, drawings and technical documentation.
•Communicate clearly as an expert witness and lead on conference calls, meetings and workshops.
•Manage project financials and programme governance across multiple projects in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Requirements

•Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) with at least ten years post-Chartership experience
•Technically recognised as expert in preparing LVIAs and TVIAs and evidence-base documents in accordance with best practice
•Experience at Public Inquiry and Examination
•Thorough knowledge of the UK planning system relevant to landscape architecture
•Experience in project management, including financial control, reporting, and programme management
