Job Summary

Own operational privacy execution across DPDP Act 2023 and GDPR, including RoPA, consent and data subject rights workflows, PIAs/DPIAs, and cross-border transfer compliance. Lead technical privacy posture reviews across cloud environments and vendor/SaaS integrations, and deliver AI/LLM-focused privacy onboarding and governance. Build AI-assisted compliance workflows, dashboards, and assessment tooling, while mentoring a Lead Compliance Engineer and coordinating with engineering, product, legal, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

•Operationalize DPDP Act 2023 and GDPR across products, systems, and vendor stack; manage RoPA, consent, data subject rights workflows, and data classification.
•Lead and increasingly automate PIAs/DPIAs, oversee cross-border transfer compliance (SCCs/adequacy and DPDP transfer rules), and support regulatory audits and incident reporting.
•Conduct technical privacy posture and assessment delivery across cloud environments (access controls, encryption, data residency, audit logging) and perform vendor/SaaS data flow reviews.
•Own AI/LLM privacy onboarding and governance: assess AI tools and integrations, define AI-specific privacy risks, and embed Privacy-by-Design into AI lifecycles.
•Design and maintain AI-assisted compliance workflows and dashboards, validate AI-generated compliance evidence, continuously improve tooling, and mentor the Lead Compliance Engineer.

Key Requirements

•Hands-on experience implementing DPDP Act 2023 and GDPR requirements.
•Ability to build and automate privacy tooling/workflows from scratch.
•Prior assessment experience for AI or LLM-powered products.
•Experience supporting regulatory examinations in a FinTech context.
•Regulatory fluency and ability to translate privacy requirements into actionable guidance.
