Own and improve merchant and listing governance for TikTok Local Services by building industry-specific onboarding/posting standards, review rules, and KYB-based mechanisms to reduce baseline and ecosystem risks. Partner with business teams to run risk assessments and strengthen end-to-end governance frameworks. Use data-driven insights to refine governance metrics and monitoring logic, and collaborate with product/model teams to enhance governance tools and improve efficiency while lowering operational costs.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and optimize industry-specific merchant and product onboarding/posting standards, review rules, and governance strategies, including KYB, POI, and review management mechanisms.
•Collaborate with business teams to conduct risk assessments and improve end-to-end governance frameworks while driving implementation of governance solutions.
•Use data-driven approaches to refine risk perception and governance metrics.
•Enhance governance logic through risk monitoring and data insights to reduce risk indicators.
•Work with product and model development counterparts to improve governance tools and model recognition capabilities, increasing efficiency and reducing operational costs.

Key Requirements

•3 years of experience in platform governance, risk governance, merchant/product governance, or content ecosystem governance.
•Bachelor’s degree or higher, with a preference for Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Data Analysis, or related fields.
•Strong strategic thinking, project management, and communication skills to collaborate across teams and drive complex projects.
•Proactive, self-motivated ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•Preferred: experience in local services/e-commerce, and proficiency with data query/analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Excel).
