Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a 29-ton P&H overhead bucket crane and perform lift/move/load tasks for petroleum coke handling.
  • •Operate and maintain coke cutting and related equipment, including proper decoking techniques and handling coke drums.
  • •Operate heavy equipment (e.g., D9/D10 dozers and other terminal equipment) to gouge, level, and distribute petroleum coke across conveyors and storage.
  • •Inspect equipment before/after operation, perform basic troubleshooting, and complete preventive maintenance and documentation.
  • •Maintain communication with supervision and support housekeeping/cleaning and safety checks for zero-tolerance objectives.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • •8 months to 1 year of heavy equipment experience, especially D9 dozers and track hoes.
  • •Operate equipment safely and efficiently using proper PPE; report unsafe conditions and damaged PPE.
  • •Be willing to work shift work with rotating day/night, weekends/overtime, and respond to on-call and emergency callouts.
  • •Physically able to lift 70 pounds and work outdoors in dusty environments, including climbing, standing, and working near moving mechanical parts.
  • •Must be capable of operating under fresh air using SCBA or a facemask breathing apparatus.
