Job Summary

Own strategic material and production planning for the Kulim plant, aligning demand with purchasing and ensuring inventory stays within forecast targets. Lead planning and forecast management across production lines, conduct capacity analysis, and manage schedules to meet delivery goals and reduce end-to-end lead times. Prepare recurring KPI, risk, spend, and supplier performance reports, coordinate with procurement and customers, and eventually take over overall material and production planning leadership.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner closely with Demand and Production Planning to understand, align, plan, and purchase direct materials and consumables for short-, mid-, and long-term needs.
•Manage material inventory levels within forecast and work with Procurement, Global Procurement, and suppliers to improve lead time, pricing, sourcing, quality, and delivery.
•Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting including KPI, Risk Inventory, Spend Data, Supplier OTD, and Supplier Performance Review reports.
•Run production planning and forecast management for production lines, including inventory management, capacity analysis, and quarterly planning based on historical orders, forecast, and capacity.
•Lead production schedule execution to meet delivery targets, manage outsourcing, and handle people management and coaching while supporting operational Oracle launch.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Material Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
•Minimum 5 years’ experience plus team management experience in a related field and manufacturing environment.
•At least 10 years’ experience in material planning, production planning, control, and management in a foreign invested company.
•Strong knowledge of material planning, production planning, scheduling, inventory control, and production control.
•Good English ability (written and oral) and strong data analysis/computer application skills.
