Job Summary

Drive commercial HVAC business growth by pursuing new customers and expanding existing accounts through owner-direct turnkey and design-build solutions. Lead consultative discovery and customer conversations using business-level insights, qualifying opportunities early and guiding customers through project business cases and financial proformas. Partner with cross-functional internal teams to develop system-related solutions, support technical questions across energy systems and controls, and help validate business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Pursue new business and grow existing customer accounts using a consultative and strategic sales approach.
•Target and identify opportunities; facilitate discovery and qualify opportunities early in the buying/selling process.
•Lead customer conversations with business-level insights to establish value and create demand.
•Answer technical questions related to energy systems, Trane products and applications, including alternatives, controls, installation, operation, maintenance, and problem resolution.
•Facilitate the customer buying process by developing project business cases, financial proformas, and validating business outcomes (including walkthroughs and construction plan review).

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 106,200 - 248,200 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of demonstrated experience or a BA/BS degree.
•5+ years of solution sales experience with a track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets, or 5+ years in estimating or engineering within the commercial built environment.
•Desire to connect current and potential customers with service offerings that create efficient and sustainable buildings.
•Ability to engage multiple stakeholders, influencers, and key decision makers.
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months (and maintain required driving record as described).
