Key Responsibilities

  • •Own change control and advise stakeholders on funding across in-budget, contingency, risk, and escalation matters.
  • •Undertake tender reviews to ensure governance, contractual, and budget alignment.
  • •Participate in programme-wide cash flow forecasts, adapting to dynamic schedules and scope.
  • •Provide periodic cost and project reports (estimates at completion, early warnings, cashflows, and variance tracking) and mentor junior cost consultants.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of cost management experience in a similar environment, with demonstrated leadership capability.
  • •A recognized university degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject; Canadian equivalency if obtained outside Canada.
  • •Membership of relevant professional organizations such as the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS) or similar.
  • •Reliability clearance with the Government of Canada or ability to obtain it quickly.
  • •Demonstratable experience on at least two projects with total value of $100M+.
