Key Responsibilities

  • •Support construction welding QA/QC activities on a major EPCM project, ensuring safe, reliable operations and client satisfaction.
  • •Review QA/QC system setup, ensure QC plans and ITPs are in place, and agree on updates.
  • •Review WPS, PQR, and welding performance reports; witness welder tests and monitor welder continuity logs.
  • •Review fabrication shop and field welding quality and oversee NDE and PWHT activities and records.
  • •Interpret welding queries against ASME and AWS codes/specifications and audit field construction for Quality System compliance, recommending corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor or Diploma degree in a related field.
  • •Minimum 10 years’ experience in field welding QC and coatings systems.
  • •CSWIP or AWS Certified Welding Inspector and NDE certifications preferred.
  • •Strong working knowledge of ASME and AWS codes/specifications.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication, with good coordination across disciplines.
