Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide senior application security subject matter expertise for product security architecture using best practices, secure design patterns, and defense-in-depth.
  • •Embed security throughout the SDLC by defining secure coding standards, driving shift-left initiatives, and integrating security into design/deployment.
  • •Design and implement security controls in CI/CD pipelines, operationalizing automated scanning (SAST/SCA/DAST/secrets) as policy-driven gates and aligning with release management.
  • •Lead threat modeling and technical risk assessments for complex systems, and communicate risk impact and remediation guidance to stakeholders.
  • •Lead API security and AI/agentic security work (guardrails, MCP security, and advanced adversary defense) including penetration testing and incident investigation/support.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 114,000 - 240,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in application security or software development, including significant cloud-native or SaaS experience.
  • •Demonstrated technical leadership as a senior individual contributor, setting standards and influencing architecture without direct authority.
  • •Hands-on secure coding practices and proficiency leading secure code reviews.
  • •Strong understanding of cloud well-architected frameworks, application security vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10), and API security (OWASP API Top 10).
  • •Experience integrating AppSec testing into CI/CD and release management (e.g., Jenkins, ArgoCD) using SAST, SCA, and DAST.
