Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise clients on cost strategies, manage vendor prequalification, assess proposals/bids and bid-levelling documents, and chair bid interviews.
  • •Lead estimating services for full projects by developing estimates, reviewing junior team estimates, and presenting estimates, value engineering recommendations, and risk assessments.
  • •Establish cost reporting schedules and manage cost reporting/forecasting, including building and maintaining a commercial risk register and hosting periodic meetings.
  • •Manage cost control by reviewing payment applications, recommending contractor entitlements with project managers, assessing change order requests, and using dispute prevention/management/resolution procedures.
  • •Manage final accounting, post-contract audits, account close outs, and post-contract reviews to produce lesson learned materials and project handover procedures.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100,000 - 135,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 3-5 years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it (valuable).
  • •Experience supporting cost management on medium or large sized construction projects.
  • •Strong communication and good knowledge of construction procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
