Job Summary

Lead commercial management across multi-disciplinary rail programmes, partnering with client project teams, suppliers, contractors, and delivery partners. Manage budgets, cost forecasting, reporting, procurement support, and contractual administration from award to close-out. Prepare monthly cost, commercial, and risk reports, oversee change events and contract performance, and help identify and mitigate commercial risks to support successful infrastructure delivery.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain client and stakeholder relationships, providing commercial support and advice.
•Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, tracking, and reporting activities.
•Support procurement activities, including reviewing and negotiating commercial terms with suppliers and contractors.
•Administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle, from award through final close-out.
•Support change events (variations, claims, compensation events) and help resolve commercial issues and contractual correspondence.

Key Requirements

•A degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.
•Professional accreditation, working towards accreditation, or an interest in pursuing qualifications such as MRICS or MCIOB.
•Experience in commercial management within the rail or wider infrastructure sector.
•Experience supporting delivery of infrastructure projects in a client, contractor, or consultancy environment.
•Knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts and commercial management principles.
