Job Summary

Build and enhance mainframe batch settlement and reporting applications for the MVS Offline Development team. Spend most of your time coding, debugging, and improving COBOL/JCL/PROCs solutions on IBM z/OS390 to ensure integrity and high availability. Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional partners to deliver projects end-to-end, participate in code reviews, and use GenAI tools to support secure, scalable fintech outcomes.

•Design, develop, test, and evaluate mainframe software applications for batch settlement and reporting.
•Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret requirements, incorporate feedback, verify assumptions, and escalate design issues.
•Develop, implement, and maintain code following best practices; participate in code reviews and debugging.
•Manage end-to-end lifecycle of application enhancements with architects, systems analysts, project managers, QA, and other developers.
•Prepare technical documentation, analyze impact of custom changes, and continuously improve reliability, performance, and availability through training and modernization.

•Development experience on MVS/OS 390 batch applications.
•Development experience using ESP, CA7 (or another scheduling software).
