Key Responsibilities

•Serve as key preparer for month-end and quarter-end tax accounting processes, including provision calculations, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
•Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales tax returns (GST/HST/QST and other indirect taxes) and related reconciliations across legal entities.
•Prepare income tax returns and related account reconciliations on a monthly basis.
•Maintain accurate, audit-ready documentation and working papers for all tax filings and reconciliations.
•Identify discrepancies, resolve reconciling items, flag process gaps, and support automation/AI-enabled tax compliance initiatives and audit response activities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 112,000 - 145,000 annually

Key Requirements

•3-5+ years of Canadian income tax and/or sales tax compliance experience, ideally in a financial institution, fintech, or public accounting environment.

•Advanced Excel skills for large datasets and multiple reconciliations in a scalable, efficient way.
•Clear written and verbal communication skills to summarize technical tax matters for non-tax audiences.
