Key Responsibilities

  • •Rotate within the Live Receiving department, including live hanging, crates, forklift driver, and backup support for the finishing machine.
  • •Back-Up Stabber: monitor the kill machine and ensure birds are properly killed before scalding.
  • •Drawer Inserter: place empty drawers from the output conveyor into the MODs and detect defects.
  • •Live Hang: deliver birds to the line at a rate of 26 birds per minute using proper hanging techniques.
  • •Follow expectations for training others, maintaining quality/safety/food safety policies, recognizing and responding to safety risks, and participating in process improvement.
