Key Responsibilities

  • •Sample asphalt product to ensure it meets required tests.
  • •Coordinate daily/weekly scheduling with management, plant personnel, crew members, and Department of Transportation inspectors for samples and mix designs.
  • •Partner with other staff reporting to the Quality Control Manager to ensure quality control specifications are met and support daily production schedules/estimates.
  • •Evaluate test results and address problems when they arise, while preparing and submitting documentation to Quality Control personnel.
  • •Maintain safety standards and PPE compliance, manage attendance expectations, and handle schedule/location changes including overtime and possible out-of-town/county/state work.
