  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • •60 months’ experience as an Aerospace Design Engineer (or related) in mechanical design, gearbox design, and engine/propulsion design.
  • •Alternate: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 24 months’ experience in mechanical design, gearbox design, and engine/propulsion design.
  • •Design mechanical components such as gears, shafts, pumps, structural housings, fasteners, and oil transfer devices.
  • •Perform component-level finite element analysis to validate designs.
