Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, PySpark, and Databricks on AWS.
  • •Lead development of new data features and services across the product lifecycle, from architecture through deployment.
  • •Create CI/CD controlled data engineering deployments using Databricks Asset Bundles and use serverless compute with cost optimization.
  • •Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and engineers to ensure data quality, integrity, and security with data governance best practices.
  • •Take technical ownership of major data platform components; lead design discussions, analyze workloads for inefficiencies and savings, and implement monitoring and intelligence dashboards for cost/performance optimization.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive data engineering experience, with Databricks & dbt as mandatory.
  • •Strong SQL and Python skills for automation, monitoring, and recommendation logic.
  • •Experience with Databricks platform internals including clusters, jobs, Delta Lake, Spark optimization, autoscaling, and Unity Catalog.
  • •Experience with frameworks like Terraform & Airflow.
  • •Track record delivering performance gains and cost savings through platform-level optimizations.
