Job Function: Manufacturing & Production Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Provide end-to-end manufacturing assembly process solutions, including DFx (design for manufacturing, design for assembly, design for 6-sigma, design for testing, etc.).
•Identify, assess, and apply risk mitigation strategies, leading investigations of issues, identifying root causes of product failures, and driving corrective actions.
•Review contract manufacturer (CM) readiness, develop assembly fixtures and jigs, and establish clear assembly and manufacturing specifications through a step-by-step validation process.
•Gather feedback through DFx, yield issues, and repair center activities to improve workflow efficiency, analyze system assembly gaps, study cosmetic appearances, and identify improvement opportunities.
•Review automation options, suggest approaches for reducing waste and cutting costs, recommend technological solutions, product design improvements, and workspace layout changes to ensure high quality and efficiency.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 152,000 - 253,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
•8+ years of proven experience in developing and implementing automation solutions in a manufacturing environment.
•Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and 2D drawing with a focus on manufacturing risk.
•Proficiency with CAD software (Creo preferred) and familiarity with PCBA manufacturing processes.
•Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills (SPC, 6-sigma, CpK, PPAP); knowledge of DFM/DFX and manufacturing cost forecasting.
