Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out daily electrical maintenance and routine preventative electrical maintenance according to set schedules and ACWA NOMAC procedures.
  • •Monitor equipment condition and report non-conformances to the Electrical Engineer/ Electrical Supervisor to meet Quality/HSE standards.
  • •Respond to electrical failures and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime and maximize equipment functionality.
  • •Troubleshoot electrical circuit/wiring faults by diagnosing, repairing, and testing; locate cable faults and verify connection points/cables meet voltage capacity requirements.
  • •Troubleshoot and diagnose causes of electrical malfunction or failure (e.g., transformers, motors, relays, switches, and control/monitoring devices) in collaboration with engineering supervision.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a technical certificate or Associate’s Diploma in Electrical maintenance.
  • •3-5 years’ experience as a technician in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment in a plant environment.
  • •Practical knowledge of relevant plant equipment.
  • •Awareness of HSE and quality standards.
  • •Ability to work in a team with effective collaboration and communication.
