Job Summary

Apply in-depth HSES expertise to solve complex health, safety, environmental, and security challenges and improve HSES performance. Own implementation of the HSES Management System, including HSES plans, procedures, risk assessments, audits, KPIs, and incident investigations. Coordinate project HSES activities, manage subcontractor/vendor HSES performance, support continual improvement through audits and action plans, and contribute to training and emergency procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Implement the McDermott HSES Management System and improve HSES performance using best practices.
•Develop and roll out HSES plans, procedures, and instructions aligned to contract and corporate/legislative requirements.
•Facilitate risk assessments, maintain risk registries, and set up HSES activity plans including inspections, audits, and emergency response.
•Prepare, schedule, and conduct internal and external HSES audits; complete subcontractor/vendor HSES pre-qualification and bid evaluation.
•Lead incident investigations, manage follow-up closeout actions, track KPIs and HSES statistics, and support continual improvement through reporting and action plans.

Key Requirements

•Degree/Diploma in an HSES-related field (or an equivalent education/experience combination).
•6 years of experience in the Energy Industry.
•Advanced understanding of local and international HSES laws, codes, and regulations.
•Trained and experienced as an ISO standards lead auditor (9001, 14001, or 45001).
•Ability to work as a team member and also act as a team leader.
