Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with smart manufacturing strategy leads to develop and deploy smart manufacturing applications across Micron fabs.
  • •Influence and develop data science strategies and applications for industrial manufacturing.
  • •Provide technical consulting and hands-on assistance to Fab area teams to identify best solutions, troubleshoot, and deploy new capabilities.
  • •Perform analysis and machine learning on very large, diverse datasets, including data cleansing, outlier identification, and missing data techniques.
  • •Build and integrate solutions, including developing APIs for application integration and supporting analytics validation and automation.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree (or at least 6 years of work experience) in data science.
  • •Hands-on experience in data analytics, data engineering, and full stack application development.
  • •Strong software development skills with programming fluency in Python and/or R.
  • •Experience extracting and analyzing data with SQL (data cleansing, outlier detection, missing data techniques) and advanced analytics.
  • •Knowledge of machine learning and statistical modeling (supervised/unsupervised/semi-supervised), plus cloud-based data engineering (GCP advantage).
