Job Summary

Implementation Engineer to manage new merchant integrations and enhancements, serving as a consultative and technical lead for Adyen’s largest merchants. You’ll solution, troubleshoot, and launch scalable integrations, collaborating with Sales, Account Managers, Product, and Engineering to ensure high-quality delivery across POS, e-commerce, marketplaces, and card issuing programs.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and manage merchant integration projects from design through launch, ensuring technical integrity and adherence to payment best practices.
•Act as a consultative partner across verticals (e-commerce, point of sale, multi-platform scenarios) to guide merchants through integration processes.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Account Managers, Product, and Engineering to deliver seamless merchant experiences and drive improvements.
•Apply project management and technical consulting skills to oversee high-quality project delivery and successful integrations.
•Provide guidance on optimizing checkout experiences, authentication, omni-channel payments, and platform onboarding with Developers and Product Managers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 144,000 - 220,000 annually

Key Requirements

•4+ years experience integrating and/or providing technical consultation when integrating with Web APIs.
•Ability to quickly learn new technologies and understand complex systems (APIs, databases, SDKs, etc.).
•Experience with distributed systems, database design and systems architecture.
•Excellent communication skills; comfortable leading meetings with high level decision makers.
•Empathetic to customer and end-user needs, translating business requirements into technical solutions that deliver value.
