Job Summary

Lead and deliver Conceptual and Basic design, and provide technical support during detailed design for process plants (oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, ammonia, etc.). Prepare heat and material balances, process flow diagrams, and piping & instrument diagrams; develop process simulation models (HYSYS, PIPENET, FLARENET); ensure RoK regulatory compliance and participate in safety reviews (HAZOP, SIL).

Key Responsibilities

•Carry out Conceptual studies / Basic design and provide technical support during detailed design phase of projects for process plants (oil & gas production, refinery / petrochemical units, ammonia, ethylene, mineral processing, specialty chemicals, refined products, pipeline, water treatment).
•Carry out various engineering activities such as preparation of heat and material balance, development of process flow diagrams, piping and instrument diagrams, and finalizing system design parameters with necessary calculations.
•Specify equipment / systems (heat exchangers, vessels, pumps, reactors, instruments) and determine design parameters.
•Develop process simulation models for the facility to be designed / upgraded and perform advanced controls/process optimization; familiar with simulators like HYSYS, PIPENET, FLARENET.
•Prepare Cause & Effect Diagrams / Line Lists, Tie-in Schedules; write Design Philosophies / Operating / Commissioning Guidelines / manuals; participate in safety reviews like HAZOP, SIL.

Key Requirements

•Engineering degree in related field.
•Proficient user of relevant software and calculation templates.
•Work experience in the respective position no less than 10 years.
•Experience in developing design documentation in accordance with RoK regulatory documents.
•Knowledge of International O&G standards
