Job Summary

Safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle to deliver building materials while complying with company policies and federal and state regulations. Inspect equipment, load and unload materials using flatbed/boom trucks, and follow customer-directed routes to ensure freight arrives undamaged. Maintain required compliance records, report accidents, lift up to 80 lbs., communicate professionally with customers and coworkers, and prioritize safety in an outdoor, deadline-driven environment.

Job Function: Transportation & Fleet Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Inspect truck and trailer for defects to ensure safe operation.
•Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom trucks and unload at commercial and residential job sites.
•Deliver materials to assigned areas as directed by customers while prioritizing personal and public safety.
•Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations and report accidents involving driver or company equipment.
•Provide excellent customer service and communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing, while operating in an outdoor environment.

Key Requirements

•Must have a valid driver’s license.
•Must have a clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).

•High School diploma or GED.
•Ability to lift heavy building materials up to 80 lbs. and perform loading/unloading safely.
