Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the technical design, development, implementation, and support of on-premises and public cloud database platforms.
  • •Lead hands-on architecture, design, and engineering of scalable, resilient, secure, highly available database solutions.
  • •Analyze system architectures to identify technical risks, dependencies, performance bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
  • •Design and implement solutions to modernize and enhance enterprise database platform capabilities.
  • •Provide production support on a rotational basis and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure platform stability and availability.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • •8+ years of database administration experience, preferably with PostgreSQL, Couchbase, Mongo, and Cassandra.
  • •4+ years of development experience programming in Python and Terraform.
  • •Experience with system configuration using Ansible and 5+ years of Linux administration.
  • •Hands-on experience deploying public cloud services for network, security, compute, and database, plus coding Terraform modules.
