Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform technical inspections on heavy equipment, tactical vehicles, and material handling equipment during the turn-in process.
  • •Diagnose faults and perform preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with Army TMs, DA PAM 750-8, and AR 750-1.
  • •Repair engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, steering, suspension, and hydraulic systems; service and maintain MHE and complete PMCS, lubrication, and part replacement.
  • •Record inspections, maintenance, and repairs using Army-approved forms and systems (e.g., DA Form 2404/5988-E, GCSS-Army) and maintain work orders and parts requisitions.
  • •Follow OSHA, Army, and company safety standards and HAZMAT handling, storage, and disposal requirements while supporting turn-in operations and condition coding.

Salary: USD 25.59 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of experience as a mechanic on military or heavy equipment.
  • •Experience maintaining Army tactical vehicles, combat systems, or MHE (forklifts, cranes, loaders).
  • •Knowledge of U.S. Army maintenance standards, technical manuals (TMs), and preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS).
  • •Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and interpret TMs, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • •Basic English proficiency for reading/writing and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
