Key Responsibilities

  • •Continuously monitor production systems during hypercare, respond to incidents in real time, and coordinate resolutions.
  • •Secure development capacity for hotfixes across Development and Testing environments; keep CI/CD pipelines operational and enforce pre- and post-deployment controls.
  • •Define alert thresholds and escalation/notification matrices; design and manage on-call rota and coverage per technical layer; own dashboard design and service health metrics.
  • •Implement synthetic testing and transaction monitoring to drive proactive detection and improve reliability.
  • •Serve as interim end-to-end accountable owner for hypercare stability and observability, leading major incident communications and building runbooks and handover materials.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • •Proven experience leading DevOps/SRE functions, ideally in regulated financial services or insurance environments.
  • •Hands-on expertise with CI/CD pipelines, release management, and deployment automation in production.
  • •Strong monitoring and observability background (dashboards, alerting, synthetic/transaction monitoring) and on-call models.
  • •Active use of AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) with concrete examples on your CV.
