Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the key day-to-day client interface to ensure client objectives are met through cost management service delivery.
  • •Provide estimating and cost planning, including producing and presenting the final cost plan, and develop updated cost plans at design milestones.
  • •Review and coordinate cost estimates with design services and the general contractor; reconcile changes and support accurate contractor data.
  • •Manage change orders, valuations, cost checks, post-contract cost variances, and cost/contingency management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • •Prepare monthly cost reports and support negotiation and agreement of final accounts; compile built cost records for benchmarking and mentor talent.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in a cost management role in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it (preferred).
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium or large construction projects of medium to high complexity.
  • •Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including procurement routes and value management/value engineering; excellent communication skills.
