Job Summary

Own key areas of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, preparing journal entries and completing balance sheet reconciliations with accurate, timely results. Analyze financial performance and support management reporting through variance analysis and assistance with monthly and annual financial statements and disclosures. Partner with FP&A, AP, Legal, and other teams while strengthening internal controls and improving accounting processes via automation and AI-enabled tools.

Key Responsibilities

•Own assigned areas of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring timely, accurate completion and identifying improvements.
•Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and adjustments, with appropriate documentation.
•Perform balance sheet reconciliations, analyzing reconciling items and resolving outstanding issues.
•Analyze financial results and prepare variance analyses to support management reporting.
•Assist with monthly and annual financial statements, support external audits, and help maintain internal controls and accounting policy adherence.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 110,000 - 130,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
•4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience with demonstrated ownership of accounting processes.
•Public accounting experience, preferably with a Big 4.
•Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls/financial reporting processes.
•Experience in consumer products, retail, apparel, or eCommerce; ASC 842 lease accounting experience is a plus.
