Key Responsibilities

•Engineering Liaison: Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the construction yard to resolve technical discrepancies. Translate complex design intent into actionable field instructions
•Technical Query (TQ) Management: Review, validate, and process Technical Queries and RFIs. Coordinate with lead discipline engineers for changes affecting AFC status
•Red-Line Markup (RLM) Oversight: Provide Red-Line Markup, review and approve Red-Line Markups ensuring field changes meet Client requirements and are captured for As-Built
•Design Validation: Conduct walk-downs of electrical and instrument systems to ensure installation matches AFC documentation
•Vendor Interface: Coordinate with package vendors to ensure field modifications comply with SIL ratings

Key Requirements

•B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
•6+ years in O&G with interface or engineering experience on Qatar offshore projects
•Familiar with QGESS, Shell DEPs, and international codes (IEC 60079, ISA)
•High proficiency in EDMS (Electronic Document Management Systems)
•Ability to interpret complex Loop Drawings, Wiring Schematics, Interconnection diagrams, and Hazardous Area Classifications
