Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure safety compliance across assigned projects by implementing the HSE Management System (HSEMS) and enforcing zero tolerance for unsafe practices.
  • •Conduct HSE requirements identification with internal and client meetings, and perform site inspections to verify adherence to safety regulations.
  • •Analyze HSE observations and incidents, recommend corrective actions, coordinate accident/injury responses, and lead investigations to close out.
  • •Supervise subcontractors and site teams on safety matters, monitor housekeeping standards, and inspect safety and lifesaving equipment.
  • •Prepare and coordinate HSE training plans, conduct/observe emergency mock drills, and maintain HSE registers, reports, and statistics.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor degree in an Engineering discipline or relevant/equivalent professional qualification.
  • •Relevant HSE Management qualification and HSE Management membership/certification.
  • •Certification/Membership: NEBOSH / OSHA.
  • •Knowledge of the ISM Code, mandatory rules and regulations, and applicable standards.
  • •Dredging and marine construction HSE officer experience.
