Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct value stream analysis to assess current operations and build a future-state vision, including reviewing procedures/controls to identify obstacles and organize teams for change.
  • •Lead planning and execution of Rapid Improvement Events (Just Do Its) to eliminate waste and improve productivity.
  • •Train and coach staff and leaders through Gemba walks and Lean methodologies including flow, on demand, zero defects, standardized work, and visual management.
  • •Support adherence to Rapid Improvement Event standard work by ensuring engagement and collaboration during pre-work, event week, and post-event weeks.
  • •Foster culture change by coaching employees and leaders on Lean principles and collaborating with Value Stream Coach, Site Leader, department managers, and supervisors; fulfill Value Stream Coach duties when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 3 years of experience working in a Lean environment, including training, coaching, and continuous improvement tools and techniques.
  • •Experience facilitating at least 30 successful Rapid Improvement Events using a defined process, improving operational and financial metrics.
  • •Knowledge of Shingo model (preferred).
  • •Associates or Bachelor of Science degree or related discipline preferred (equivalent education/training/experience considered).
  • •Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively engage various audiences.
