Support clients with project finance and business case advisory to develop, implement, and optimize procurement and funding strategies aligned to Net Zero and greener infrastructure outcomes. Lead client adoption through clear communication and strong influencing skills while collaborating in a multi-disciplined programme advisory team and contributing to business generation.

Key Responsibilities

•Advising clients to develop, implement, and optimize procurement and funding strategies for greener infrastructure aligned to Net Zero targets.
•Assessing programme business challenges, developing optimal solutions, and supporting solution implementation.
•Understanding factors across the programme lifecycle affecting set up, development, and delivery, with emphasis on business case and private capital for infrastructure.
•Tailoring and applying established processes, tools, and systems, contributing to continuous improvement.
•Supporting business generation efforts and delivering high-quality client care through effective communication and stakeholder influence.

Key Requirements

•Masters or MBA qualification (or equivalent experience) is advantageous.
•Experience in project finance and/or business case development, preferably for de-carbonisation and Net Zero.
•Experience working with the public sector, managing transactions/projects in public sector delivery settings across a range of sectors.
•Understanding of UK policy guidance and economic benefit assessment, including social value, community benefits, and low carbon transition.
•Experience with de-carbonisation and Net Zero technologies/services (e.g., hydrogen, electric/zero-emissions or hybrid transport infrastructure, batteries/battery storage, carbon capture storage) and PPP/PFI (incl. PFI Handback).
