Key Responsibilities

  • •Own processing domain expertise from submission through underwriting readiness.
  • •Identify repetitive processing work to standardize, automate, or eliminate.
  • •Translate processing workflows, edge cases, and expert judgment into product requirements and operating rules.
  • •Build human-review queues, SLAs, escalation paths, and controls for unsupported or ambiguous cases.
  • •Establish operating metrics (cycle time, manual touches, aging, exception rates, quality, and automated coverage) and diagnose root causes behind failures and bottlenecks.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant mortgage processing leadership experience at a scaled lender.
  • •Strong preference for wholesale mortgage experience.
  • •Experience operating at hundreds or thousands of loans per month.
  • •Strong analytical and operational judgment with a track record improving throughput, quality, cycle time, or workflow design.
  • •Comfort making implicit operational knowledge explicit enough for technical teams to encode.
