  • •Uphold the reputation of the nursing profession and act as a positive role model for nursing and support staff.
  • •Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate programmes of care under indirect supervision of senior nursing staff.
  • •Comply with the UAE Code of Conduct, Scope of Practice, and licensure requirements and refuse tasks outside training/competence.
  • •Delegate tasks only to trained, skilled, and competent team members; seek expert help when care needs fall outside capabilities.
  • •Manage deteriorating patients without delay using the Early Warning System escalation process and American Heart Association emergency algorithms, while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Key Requirements

  • •Have an appropriate license to work as a registered nurse in the relevant regulatory health authority, with the required qualifications and experience.
  • •Manage their own professional re-licensure.
  • •Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
