Key Responsibilities

•Develop cementing job designs for customer requirements, including preliminary job calculations, computer simulations, fluid system design, lab test requests, test review/approval, and regulatory verification.
•Provide operational expertise by creating operational instructions, identifying required resources, performing post-job analysis, and implementing improvements for subsequent jobs.
•Maintain relationships with technical customers and sell tailored cement solutions, including new technology and processes from performance optimization plans (POP).
•Provide technical support at the well site as required by the customer or PSL, verifying job design using final job input parameters and original engineering tools.
•Coordinate equipment needs with the PSL team and provide chemical and casing forecasts to support deliveries and inventory targets.

Key Requirements

•Completion of an undergraduate degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline is required.
•Minimum of 12 months experience learning cementing operations, job design, and technical solutions.
•Ability to use cementing knowledge to develop job designs meeting customer requirements, including calculations, simulations, and fluid system design.
•Ability to perform risk assessments and verify job design meets regulatory requirements.
•Ability to coordinate lab test requests, review/approve test results, and provide cost estimates for planned operations.
