Job Summary

Lead Dragos’ product security engineering team as a working manager, spending about half your time on people leadership and team growth. Own certification, accreditation, and hardening initiatives across DISA STIGs, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 (including FedRAMP and similar programs). Stay hands-on with vulnerability remediation and security tooling (SAST/DAST, CI/CD), while coordinating PSIRT leadership and cross-functional work with Compliance, Legal, and Sales Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage, mentor, and grow the product security engineering team, including hiring, career development, and performance management.
•Own certification and accreditation initiatives, including DISA STIG hardening and authorization packages, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and related frameworks.
•Provide technical strategy and PSIRT leadership through the Principal Product Security Engineer, translating strategy into an executable roadmap.
•Remain hands-on with vulnerability remediation, including SAST/DAST tooling, security assessments, and PSIRT response.
•Coordinate with Compliance, Legal, and Sales Engineering for security questionnaires, audits, and certification renewals; track posture and SLAs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 220,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of direct cybersecurity or product security experience.
•1-2+ years managing or leading a team of security engineers (or demonstrated team-lead/player-coach experience).
•Hands-on experience obtaining or maintaining compliance certifications (SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, FedRAMP or similar) and/or DISA STIG hardening and authorization processes.
•Experience with SAST/DAST implementation and integrating security tooling into CI/CD pipelines.
•Experience with security in cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), on-premise, and virtualized environments.
