Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with cross-functional teams (data scientists, software engineers, machine learning engineers, product managers) to deliver AI-powered products.
  • •Leverage PyTorch, AWS Ultraclusters, Hugging Face, Lightning, and vector databases to extract insights from large numeric and textual datasets.
  • •Build AI foundation models across the full lifecycle: design, training, evaluation, validation, and implementation.
  • •Conduct high-impact applied research to push the latest AI developments into next-generation customer experiences.
  • •Translate complex technical work into tangible business goals for customers and the business.

Key Requirements

  • •Have, or be in the process of obtaining, a PhD (or an MS plus 2 years) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Mathematics, or related fields (degree to be obtained by start date).
  • •Hands-on experience developing AI foundation models and solutions using open-source tools and cloud computing platforms.
  • •Experience building large deep learning models (language, images, events, or graphs) with expertise in areas such as training optimization, self-supervised learning, robustness, explainability, or RLHF.
  • •A track record of delivering models at scale, including training data and inference volumes.
  • •Experience delivering libraries/platform-level or solution-level code into existing products, along with accomplishments such as high-quality ideas and first-author publications.
  • •Possess the ability to own and pursue a research agenda with long-running projects.
