Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Production team by maintaining the plant and dealing with breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
  • •Take ownership of electrical systems and electrical applications, ensuring full compliance with safety legislation.
  • •Perform proactive and reactive maintenance and repairs, including diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
  • •Run RCA on significant failures and drive follow-on and improvement activities.
  • •Work split between production-focused reactive support and planned maintenance activities, including changeovers and daily meetings, with SAP recording of key information.

Key Requirements

  • •Electrical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
  • •Minimum NVQ level 3 and BTEC ONC / City and Guilds (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
  • •Multi-skilled/cross-skilled capability and competence in both mechanical and electrical systems.
  • •Strong diagnostic/troubleshooting experience in a high-volume manufacturing or process environment.
  • •Familiarity with computers and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (SAP).
