Job Summary

Join Anduril’s Air Dominance & Strike team to design and implement an autonomy software stack for aerial and multi-domain robotic systems. You will develop core libraries for robot teamwork, own major feature rollouts, and collaborate with hardware teams and pilots to align requirements, delivering terminal-phase autonomy, perception, motion planning, SLAM, and secure communications across unmanned air vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

•Write and maintain core libraries and services that perform critical functions for collaborative teams of robots, such as motion deconfliction and contingency management of fast mover air vehicles
•Own major feature development and rollout of large, complex features for products, including terminal-phase autonomy for various air vehicles and testing plans on live surrogates
•Collaborate with Anduril and third-party vehicle hardware teams and operation subject matter experts to align requirements during product development and iteratively reach a final design
•Lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage full project lifecycles from concept to deployment
•Contribute to sensor fusion, perception, and decision-making challenges across autonomous air systems

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 254,000 - 338,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
•BS in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
•10+ years experience in motion planning, perception, localization, mapping, controls, and related system performance metrics
•Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, set technical direction, and manage full project lifecycles from concept to deployment
•Deep understanding of integrating various sensor systems and utilizing various techniques for perception and decision-making
