Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide field supervision of detention officers, including supervision, guidance, and on-the-job training.
  • •Ensure consistent service delivery by responding to problems, managing staffing for open posts, and handling call-offs.
  • •Brief detention officers during muster and post checks and conduct on-the-job training to correct performance deficiencies.
  • •Conduct administrative investigations of policy violations and document incidents with complete, accurate verbal and written reports.
  • •Enforce ACA and ICE National Detention Standards through daily quality assurance inspections and maintain effective operation and security of the facility.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum one year of detention officer experience and two years of field supervision experience in law enforcement, guard service, or security supervisory roles.
  • •Obtain and maintain a DHS/ICE government clearance and pass pre-employment and random drug tests.
  • •US citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident who has resided in the US for the last five years.
  • •Pass a criminal background and consumer credit check with no criminal record, and pass a medical examination meeting health requirements.
  • •At least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and applicable firearms/security guard licensing under Puerto Rico regulations.
