Key Responsibilities

  • •Regularly inspect facility operations to ensure safe job practices, proper protective equipment use, and required machine/process guards are in place.
  • •Investigate accidents and near-miss occurrences to identify trends and causes and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
  • •Develop safety programs and incentives with management; chair the Safety Committee.
  • •Conduct new-hire training and provide employee training on safe operation of machinery and equipment.
  • •Maintain OSHA 300 logs and required reports, manage first aid/CPR readiness and safety/medical supplies inventory, and coordinate forklift training and fire inspection tours.
