Job Summary

Install and remove molds and molding machine lines/fixtures, keeping equipment in proper working condition. Follow prescribed procedures for connecting water and hydraulic lines, installing nozzles and heater blocks, unclamping/clamping molds, and wiring heater bands. Clean, repair, and maintain molding nozzles and inserts, rig molds for installation/removal, and transport molds in the facility using a crane and forklift while maintaining cleanliness and safety.

Key Responsibilities

•Install and remove molds and lines/fixtures for molding machines while maintaining molds and molding equipment.
•Follow procedures for removing molds, including water/hydraulic line removal, removal of nozzles/heater blocks, and unclamping/unfastening molds.
•Follow procedures for installing molds, including connection of water/hydraulic lines, installation of nozzles/heater blocks, and clamping/fastening molds.
•Clean, repair, and maintain molding nozzles; wire heater bands and install/remove mold inserts as scheduled.
•Rig, transport, and move molds within the facility using crane and forklift while maintaining cleanliness and safety.
