Job Summary

Join the HP Security Lab to research and design security architecture for future endpoint devices. You’ll work with systems security research engineers to develop and prototype new hardware/firmware technologies, collaborate with HP business teams to identify opportunities, and help shape innovation roadmaps. The role includes analyzing threat and technology trends, validating use cases with end-users and partners, and documenting architecture and technical designs.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze technology, threat, and end-user needs to drive HP security research and product roadmaps.
•Develop new hardware and firmware security architectures.
•Build prototypes to de-risk ideas and demonstrate feasibility.
•Document architecture and technical designs.
•Validate use cases with end-users and business partners while working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements

•Experience with hardware and firmware technologies (x86, ARM, UEFI, PCIe, DMA, etc.).
•Knowledge of computer architecture.
•Ability to analyze and model threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigations.
•Ability to survey and articulate technology and threat trends.
•Strong engineering skills with knowledge or interest in endpoint security.

Education:Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a related field
