Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently manage and resolve complex end-to-end employee exits across international jurisdictions with a superior offboarding experience.
  • •Provide first-level employee relations support, including guidance on progressive discipline, documentation requirements, and handling difficult workplace situations.
  • •Lead facilitation of client and external-employee meetings for terminations, workforce reduction consultation, administrative hearings, and separations/settlements.
  • •Draft, tailor, and administer termination and supplementary documents with strict privacy/confidentiality adherence; maintain accurate records.
  • •Process offboarding in Remote’s internal HRIS platform and collaborate with stakeholders (Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, Time and Attendance) while driving process improvements through automation and AI.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with generalist HR exposure across the employee lifecycle.
  • •Independent experience managing voluntary and involuntary exits (terminations) with legal compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • •Understanding of employee relations principles, progressive discipline approaches, and workplace investigation fundamentals.
  • •Strong communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills to lead difficult conversations with confidentiality.
  • •Business-level advanced proficiency in written and spoken English; tertiary qualifications in HR/labour relations/employment law are a plus.
